"Covid-19 has changed a lot in the project, just like here. As the original plan was to record a public performance with three performers, it has now changed to recording a performance on an open field with one performer.

 

For this online video I used this metaphorical wasteland too but twist it around. Show that wasteland is unnecessary and instead of creating landfills we can let nature grow. The open field undermines the consequences of pressuring nature with our waste.

 

The box formed frame gives an extra story. The norm (landfill installation) hangs in the frame and during the performance the landfill demolishes into zero-waste clothing, placed ‘outside the box’. It’s about storytelling and to evoke emotion."
